How would you vote?

Take the seat

You're a member of Congress. Real bills come to the House floor, with a new one every few days. Vote on each one, then see which Minnesota members of Congress on this year's ballot voted the way you did. Names stay hidden until you finish.

Your first vote on each bill is added to an anonymous running total. We store counts only, never your name, address or device.

Before you vote

  1. Check that you're registered at your current address.
  2. Find your polling place, or vote early at your local elections office.
  3. Voting by mail? You need a witness (a U.S. citizen 18+ or a notary), and your ballot must arrive by Election Day.

Who can vote: U.S. citizens 18+ on Election Day who have lived in Minnesota 20 days and are not currently incarcerated for a felony. Questions: 1-877-600-VOTE.

Party platforms and rules

Each party's own statement of what it stands for, and the constitution or bylaws that say how it runs, straight from its official website. On any candidate card, tap the party name for its rules or "platform" for its positions. Candidates don't always agree with every part of their party's platform, so check their own positions too.

Independent and nonpartisan candidates (including judges and most county offices) don't run with a party platform.
